How is everyone doing, now that summer is winding down. Two weeks and the children go to school. Who is starting grade one this year Kaylie, Elias and Tyler? A big year for a few moms.
Ron only has two weeks left on his parental leave, the count down is on. In some ways he's looking forward to going back to work and then others he's not. Like last night we couldn't sleep due to the fact that we would be putting Ryley in day care, this is a big thing for us. Grandma Lewis will be taking him one day a week, then he will be at a private home for 3-4 days a week. Fact of life - we both have to work.
Ryley has his first summer cold, and passed it on to me. I have never had this many colds this close together, maybe one or two a year, since I left home. He still working on his two front teeth. They are taking their time. Right now they're not bothering him. He's standing on his own with no support from anything around him. He now wants to walk over certain things, the back door has a small step out on to the deck, he likes to step over that, and at the water park there is a step down on to the water area again he like to step over that. As he gets older he likes to spend more time at the water park. He could be shivering with cold and still want to be in the water. We let him crawl around in the water a little bit now, you have to watch the older children so they don't run him over.
Nothing much new with me, my job is going well, I don't like the Saturday or the fact that I don't have two days off in a row, we'll see.
We've been busy watching the Olympics since Friday, (sorry we didn't come to church on Sunday Paras, the Olympics are only on two Sundays ever 2 years, and this years it's live in the morning). Ron really gets hooked, Ryley like the swimming events and I like the diving and gymnastics
Have a great day
Love Jennifer and family
