September 15th, 2004

How has everyone been doing.  We have been doing great; lots of changes over the last 2 weeks.

Ryley had his birthday party on September 10th, and he had a wonderful time and he was hyped up on sugar.  We invited a few family members and a few friends, no little people as we done know that many yet.  Ryley had fun with his cake as you will see in his attached pics and he got great gifts.  Over the last 2 weeks he has got his two upper front teeth, now he has 4.  He is also trying to quite one of his naps, he has been having quiet time for about 10 minutes when he should be having his morning nap.  Then he has an afternoon nap around 1pm until 2:30 - 3:00, when he used to go down for his afternoon nap at about 2:00 - 2:30.  He's not walking yet and still a month away I think.  He's free standing and he will try to take a steps but always falls down.  He can walk holding one of my hands but he prefers 2 hands to hang on to still.  He loves going to Lita's, (his day care person) so I have no problem leaving him there.  The other day he waved and said bye-bye to the neighbor Terry with no prompting from us or the neighbor as Terry wasn't even outside.  I was very excited.

I have news of my own.  I have a new job which I start on Wednesday the 22nd.  I will be working from 7am - until 3pm Monday- Thursday and 9am until 12 noon on Friday, very close to home about a 7 or 8 minute drive.  I'll be picking Ryley up before 3:30pm, and I'll be home for supper.  The job is a receptionist position at an ortho office.  I will have a very steep learning curve as I don't know anything about ortho at this time.  I think it will be lots of fun, and the office atmosphere is positive and supportive.  The girls are friendly and outgoing.

Not much to say about Ron, as he is back to work full time and not very busy.  When things pick up it'll get better and he'll enjoy being back.
