December 6th, 2004

I'm sure everyone is busy getting ready for Christmas.  I know we sure have been.

We went out to look at a new puppy for our little home on November 29th.  One of the patients at Jennifer's office had a litter of lab puppies.  The dad is a purebred chocolate lab with papers and the mom is also a purebred black lab, but without papers.  Mom had 7 puppies, 5 black girls, a yellow boy and a chocolate boy.  We have pretty much decided we are going to take 'Sparkie', one of the black girls.  We are now trying to figure out a name for her... Suggestions???

We have been to one Christmas get together so far.  It was at Sean's house (one of Ron's co-workers).  They have a beautiful house and we had a great time.  We have a birthday party to go to this weekend and then Ron's works children's Christmas party the next weekend.  It seems like it never ends.

We have started tanning, but still have a long way to go before we are dark enough to head south.  We have finally finished out Hepatitis A and B vaccines.  Jennifer didn't react too well to the vaccines, but at least it is over.

We went to Eastside Church's Christmas dinner.  Great Aunt Marie and Catherine were then with some of there families.  Marie even managed to get Uncle Bruce to come.  Ryley had a great time running around the hall.

Jennifer's team got another victory at curling last week.  They are slowly rebounding from the last few weeks.  Ron's team is still experiencing some difficulties, but they are still 2 points out of last.  We now get a long break from curling.  Next week everyone is off, the week after is the turkey shoot (but we are busy) and then we get 2 weeks off for Christmas.  Once we start again Jennifer gets a bye the first week, so she should be a little rusty.

Our thoughts are with Jennifer's Grammy Robinson right now.  She is in the hospital sick right now.  We are hoping she is home for Christmas.
